WEO Churches
WEO utilizes native pastors, as domestic missionaries, to establish and operate churches in Western Africa. Currently, WEO is blessed with over 45 churches in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Guinea and Nigeria to further the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Sierra Leone
There are over 36 churches in Sierra Leone, located throughout the western and southern provinces. WEO is currently seeking to expand its ministry "coast" to the northern and eastern districts.
New Church Plant in Sierra Leone
WEO has begun to construct a church in the village of Mogbetu. The congregation is doing all of the work to manufacture the bricks and construct the footers and walls. Work should complete sometime in 2025.
Liberia
WEO operates five (7) churches in the country of Liberia. These churches are located predominantly in the western and northern areas of the country.

Ghana
After Pastor Patrick Obiye and his family moved back to Nigeria, Pastor Sabastian Baku and his family answered God's call to take up residence in Ghana to continue the work of the ministry. Praise the good Lord for appointing godly men and women to his ministry.
Nigeria
Nigeria - WEO has planted a brand new church here with the recent move of Pastor Patrick Obiye back to his hometown in Ibadan, Nigeria.

Pst Obiye is growing this new church with the same energy that he had in Ghana.

Makeni and Mocumbu, Sierra Leone
Makeni - Reverend Thomas Sesay and family
The northern districts of Sierra Leone, including the town of Makeni, are predominantly Muslim. As such, it is hard for Christianity to take roots there.
In early 2021, Reverend Sesay felt the Holy Spirit calling him and his family back to his hometown of Makeni to introduce the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ.

This calling was immediately blessed with land and funds to build a modest church building. Shortly thereafter, a sizable congregation grew.

By 2022, Reverend Sesay felt led to start a second church in the area of Mocumbu, not far from Makeni, so once again, funds for a modest church building were provided and this sister church has been established. Please continue to pray for Reverend Sesay and the marvelous work that God is doing in this Muslim dominant area.

Reverend Henry C. Ada-Pratt who speaks fluent French, has now taken up residence in the Capital of Abidjan. He has raised funds to bring his wife and daughter back with him to help in church planting. Reverend Henry C. Ada-Pratt comes from Moyamba Junction Sierra Leone, where he is known as a strong church planter leaving his district with a total of 8 churches!
