Praise: we will be celebrating this Feb 2025, the 30th anniversary of WEO missions in Africa! Amazing years of God's word reaching out to African people. Thank you, God, for the amazing supporters and opportunities you have given us!!
As God's perfect timing plays out we were not able to make it to Africa this spring for our missions trip to continue work on the college or do VBS. However, we will be making a VBS trip this coming year in early Feb 2025 during the 30-year celebration. We will also be traveling back to Africa this Nov 2024 to continue the college build.
Praise: In Nov we will be able to work on phase two of the college build project. This will be to place the roof on the college. We are so thankful to have the help and tools in-place to accomplish this for the Makripodis College in Africa. This will complete step two of this massive project and get us closer to the exciting goal of bringing God's word to Africa through higher education on a larger scale.
Praise: Despite the delayed build timeline, this has not stopped college classes from commencing. Reciprocates of the J.E.Sykes scholarship have already graduated the first semester from Makripodis College with impressive GPAs! In high spirits, we praise God for this exciting opportunity and await the start of the second semester.
Praise: Construction of the security wall and gates for the orphanage in Mattru is complete! The kiddos have a safer haven to thrive and enjoy good food and God's love. We are so grateful!
